None of our products is fanciful; all of them are clean looking and functional. Sonic finesse is the strength of our products.

Simple circuitry

Simple circuits are the first choice in our designs. Not only would that be more reliable because fewer component failures are less likely, it sounds better, too. It is a case of less-is-more.

We prefer a power supply constructed with passive components instead of an active regulator because too much regulation would "strangle" the sound and impeding the flow of music. However, we will use active regulators in applications when their performance is superior.

Good quality parts

Parts quality is important in a design, it has profound effects on the eventual sonic results. The change of a component might affect how the design sounds. Individual components are chosen accordingly to their sonic attributes in a circuit application.

Sensible application

Synergy is very important in audiophile products. It is more an art than science. All designs involve compromises and tradeoffs. In a given application, we will adopt a design that would give the most satisfactory sonic performance. Extensive listening tests are used to determine whether a product is performed as intended.
